Logs and terminals

Follow and search container logs, get AI summaries, and open shells in containers and servers.

Container logs

The Logs tab follows a container's output live. You can:

  • Search the log as plain text, or switch on regular-expression search.
  • Set a date and time range to look at a past period. Leave the end time unset to keep following live from that point.
  • Combine logs from the other containers in the same deployment into one timeline.
  • Download the logs as a file.
  • Ask for an AI-assisted summary, likely root cause and recommendation for what the logs show. This is available when your administrator has enabled AI features on the control plane.

Container terminal

The Terminal tab opens a shell inside a running container. Type a command and press Enter; use Send Ctrl+C to interrupt a running command and Reconnect if the session drops. Leaving the screen closes the session.

Server terminal

Click Terminal in the resource bar to open a shell on the selected server itself — useful for checking disk space or system services without a separate SSH session. It runs as the agent's system user: root for the standard Linux install, or your own user on macOS and rootless Linux agents. Docker does not need to be running.

Terminals are for administrators only. They use a simple command line with scrollback, so full-screen programs such as vim or top do not work. Use commands like cat, tail or ps instead.
